Northwest Canoe Culture Day -- May 2nd, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
West Eugene Wetlands Project Office, 751 S. Danebo Ave., Eugene OR
The Willamette Resources & Educational Network (WREN) will kick off
American Wetlands Month in May with a presentation on traditional
Northwest Coast canoe culture. Join us for the day as we explore
carving traditional Kalapuya & Chinook Cedar Style Canoes and carving
canoe paddles from Oregon Ash. Northwest Native American tribes will
share traditions of language, canoes, carving, basket weaving and
