See http://www.coastfork.org/ and details on Calendar
"We want to float a section of the Coast Fork Willamette River and pick up trash.
In early June we floated from Row River Nature Park to Lynx Hollow Park, so we would like to pick up trash in the downstream sections as far downstream as Mt. Pisgah (the exact locations are still TBD - any suggestions?)
We would love to partner with local paddling groups to make this a highly visible event and to pool resources in order to get more watershed council supporters out on the river and to get the river cleaned up."

OLD PAST EVENTS:
February Meeting Mon. Feb. 7th, 6:30 pm @
Davis Restaurant, Broadway/Olive, downtown Eugene
We will talk about past and future trips.
Horst Lueck will give a Kodak slide presentation about running the Palouse River from near the Idaho border to the confluence with the Snake River in the late 80s, early 90s (several falls and weirs were portaged). Some of the scouting was done from a single-engine Cessna.
Meeting, Monday, Nov 8, 2010, 7 PM, Davis Restaurant (Eugene, Broadway & Olive St.)
Agenda: Continue club discussion and trip planning, followed by Show&Tell, that's slides&talk.
Bring a selection of slides of a trip or event you like to share (5-10 Min.).
Images can be on USB stick or drive, CD, DVD -- if we get internet access even on the web.
Saturday/Sunday, Nov 6/7, 2010, Riding the Tide, Umpqua River, Winchester Bay area
For more information contact email@example.com
Meeting, Monday, Oct 18, 2010, 7 PM, South Eugene High School, Rm 202
Agenda: Club discussion, trip planning, presentation.
Horst Lueck will show slides from some "Central Oregon Waters Less Paddled", and roads less taken.
Most of the waters covered are lakes, but there will be short sequences from the Crooked River below Prineville Reservoir and the John Day between the town of John Day to the confluence with the North Fork.
The latter (RM 247.0 to 184.5) has enough material to fill an entire evening, but Horst will throw in just enough pics to make you want to run some of it, and to stay away from other segments.
