Bring food of your choice to share, paper plates, utensils and something to drink. We won’t need napkins, as we are all very tidy.

Also, bring along numerous brilliant ideas relating to the way the club operates or should operate. This should be a good place to discuss the objectives and future of the club.
 
 

Since there was no meeting, there are no minutes.

The trip reports for this month a bit sketchy. On the trip from Dexter to Jasper, the only report is that Horst spent most of the trip fishing folks out of the water - it appears the run is a tad above novice.

For the moonlight paddle at Fern Ridge, Dick & Rosemary Mulligan, Neila Campbell, Omar Nelson and Horst Lueck met and paddled out under a partly cloudy sky. The word is Horst terrorized all the power boats, forcing them to go away, but then lost his bearings and couldn’t lead the group back to the put in. They did find it eventually.

Unless otherwise noted, all trips leave from Alton Baker Park at 8:30 A.M. PFD required. Contact trip leader for more details. If you have signed up for a trip, let trip leader know if you have to cancel out.
 

HOSMER LAKE CAMPOUT

Monday 8/14 - Sunday 8/20

Come for a day or all week. Camp in the upper (quiter) campground. Paddle Hosmer and other nearby lakes.

Paddle (float) from Tethrow Landing to Big River Campground on Saturday. Explore a lake or two on Sunday - maybe Hosmer and/or Sparks. Camp Saturday night and Sunday if desired.
